Yesterday was our hat decorating event. It was not that crowded, as only seven of us were there and only five had hats to decorate. We made some amazingly pretty feather, ribbon and flower adornments, and there was so much material left - maybe we can do this again next semester.
Are there any other similar activities that members would like? Either to make pretties like hats or to try period crafts?

Hat decorating was fun (yes I was actually someone who carried a hat to and from uni that day, and wore it home in the car afterwards). Period crafts sound really fun, but I'd have to see what they are before I could actually decide that!
well, Nilru has a lot of quilling supplies, so we could do quilling. What else would be easy for a group?
maybe decoupage? that was very 'in' in the Victorian era.

yep quilling will be on the agenda for next term because, as Rhiannon mentioned, I have an unhealthy amount of quilling stuff occupying my room.
